The life of Dr. P.T. Abraham (Baby Mulamoottil) is a saga of distinctive achievement as Sportsmen, Entrepreneur, Educationist, Social worker. St. Mary's Residential Group of Schools, a set of pioneer senior secondary schools in South India, was established in 1974 by St. Mary's Educational and Cultural Society Tiruvalla, a registered charitable Trust. Within the short span of 42 years, the school has made outstanding achievements in various areas of curricular and co-curricular activities under the leadership of Late Dr. P. T. Abraham. The school has catered to the educational needs of students all over India and those from abroad. The head school, managed by a governing council consisting of eminent educationists, is situated in the heart of Tiruvalla municipal town, Pathanamthitta district, Kerala. It has an extensive campus of more than ten acres. Due emphasis is given to co-curricular activities for the proper development of the pupils personality. The St. Mary';s Educational and Cultural Society to which this school belongs, has never forgotten its social responsibilities. Further, the Society has been doing charitable service for the poor and the needy by rendering financial assistance and providing food and clothing, building shelter for the homeless, lending a helping hand to those struck by various disasters such as the harmful effects of Endosulfan etc.
